V. Dolphin produces a soft and rhythmic electronic music, a fragile and filtered voice, whispered,
emanating from an aquatic world sometimes dark, sometimes intriguing, always beautiful and ethereal.
STORY :
After a first release Blue in 2014 on the London label specialized in dream music and vaporwave Dream Catalogue,
V. Dolphin releases his second LP in the late 2015 Ocean Songs on the very DIY pop label AB Records
After the release of his second album, V. Dolphin take the habit of releasing one cover a week, every Sunday.
Which leads him to gather all these covers under a free mini album called Sunday Covers released in June 2016 on AB Records
Two years later and after a few concerts, he releases his third and new album "LIQUID" in
June 2018. This time on vinyl and with his own label Oceaan Records still supported by AB Records and Winslow Records
In 2020, V release a new album “ Forever Blue”
at the begining of the first lockdown on Oceaan Records.
A more pop-rnb oriented album, with more lyrics.
Composed during a summer residency in the south of France.

» https://soundcloud.com/nova-lyon/lair-fin-140518#t=6:37
Pionears (BE) “Vince is back. Almost exactly two years ago, we threw Vince Dolphin at you. Since then, we kept it pretty silent, playing quietly his Sunday Covers, Blue and Ocean Songs on repeat. Today we’re excited to bring him back into the music realm! Next month, Vince is releasing a new album, Liquid, on his very own label: Oceaan Records. Talk soon” http://pionears.be/post/173512149776/vince-dolphin-blue-realm-vince-is-back
Crayon Beats (US) “Meandering around soundcloud, I came across Vince Dolphin and his cool ambient sounds. Representing Lyon, France, the solo project draws inspiration and creativity in “subaquatic softness, dolphin dances and aqua-disco airiness.” The first track I stumbled upon, “The Sunken Islands,” really caught me off guard and held my ear with its calming nature. Moving on to the second track on his soundcloud, titled “Underwater Slow Dance,” made me wish I was a mermaid at the mermaid ball. Vince Dolphin’s music is soothing yet full of energy.” http://www.crayonbeats.com/vince-dolphin/
Ambiant Exotica (GE) - About the track “Song For The Dead Whales” "The song title is declamatory and quite dramatic, the agglutinated soundscape is no different: Vince Dolphin’s subzero/subaqua hybrid is a deep and empty world, with elasticized echolots and tungsten-coated tentacles reciprocating between mis-chromosomed plankton whorls and crepuscular kelp movements. All of this, I must add, is achieved without the use of bubbles or other radiophonic workshop elements. A great feat with an almost tangible moisture"
